Objectives of this role

The Branch Manager will direct and supervise the staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, and training of branch personnel

Oversees schedules and assignments for the branch

Oversees branch revenue and profitability

Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Oversees production process to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and financial goals and standards are met

Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations

Works with Regional Manager to develop operating budget and manages P&L for the branch

Collaborates with sales and uses historical and forecasting data to establish and maintain proper inventory levels meeting customer and cash management needs

Delivers reports to executive team members as requested

Oversees equipment purchase and maintenance for achieving optimal cost, quality, and safety of production process

Collaborates with corporate office to set performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance

Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives

Identifies training needs and opportunities; develops and implements a plan for meeting those needs

Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent team building, leadership, and management skills.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience:

Rigging and below-the-hook experience preferred

5 years management experience in a production industry

Experience in creating an annual budget and managing a P&L

Experience in inventory management processes
