Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for Thermal Design Engineer to be part of its team in its North merican operations.

Description:

Client is looking for a highly motivated engineer to add to the expanding thermal systems platform group. The focus will be on both ICE and electrified powertrains and the resulting thermal systems required. The following is a list of expected roles in this position.

Coordinate the design and development of thermal system components.

Manage component development throughout the design cycle from concept stage through to production line off by using client development methodologies and processes for vehicle development.

Execute design utilizing Catia V5 independently and by leading Supplier Engineers or CAD modelers.

Conduct rigorous packaging / layout studies.

Create drawings & 3D models using TEMA specified design process

Manage and continuously adjust priorities and processes to maintain project targets and deliverables - i.e. schedule, performance, cost, quality

Visualization of issues, concerns, and gaps for responsible parts and design processes. Participate in improvement and reflection activities as required

Project Management experience.

Requirements:

Bachelors of Science Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree

8 years of engineering design experience with HVAC and thermal system components.

8 years Engineering experience with Catia V5.

Must be able to effectively communicate in English
