Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to support its team, primarily based in Hong Kong. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners, lawyers, and global teams to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance the firm's profile across the region. This role supports the disputes and employment practice groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Oversee proposal strategy, pricing analysis, and client research. Maintain marketing collateral and key databases.
Marketing & Communications: Plan and implement campaigns, events, and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Client Development: Manage key client accounts, support secondments, and lead client listening initiatives.
Profile Raising: Coordinate directory submissions, media engagement, and digital content to build brand visibility.
Collateral & Event Management: Update marketing materials and deliver impactful webinars and events.
Strategic Projects: Lead or contribute to ad-hoc projects including market and industry research.
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in professional services, ideally within the legal sector, with strong insight into the APAC market.
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement in a global, matrixed environment.
Exceptional communication, writing, and analytical skills; fluency in English essential, fluent Chinese, Mandarin or Cantonese, preferred
Sound understanding of regional macro-economic and political trends.
Collaborative and inclusive approach, with discretion in handling confidential information.
