We are looking for a committed and skilled Assistant to the Head of Primary & ELS to join our leadership team. In this dual-capacity role, the successful candidate will support the Head of Primary in managing the daily operations of the primary school and will also oversee the English Language Support (ELS) program. The role requires a strong focus on maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, supporting staff development, and promoting inclusive practices to effectively meet the needs of all learners, particularly students acquiring English as an additional language.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Support
Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings for the Head of Primary & ELS
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and internal communications
Maintain accurate records of students, staff, and departmental files
Communication & Coordination
Serve as a liaison between the Head and staff, parents, and students
Help organize parent-teacher meetings and internal events
Support clear and timely communication within the department
Project & Event Management
Help plan and implement school activities, workshops, and initiatives
Support logistics and follow-ups related to academic projects
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (in Education or a related field)
Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably in a leadership or support capacity
A good understanding of English language learning needs in a multilingual environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to student success and well-being
