American Structurepoint’s Survey Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Surveyor! In this role, you’ll spend time both in the field and in the office completing field measurements and supporting research, drafting, and data processing tasks back in the office. You’ll work closely with experienced surveyors and technicians.

Responsibilities
What you will do:
Prepare key surveying deliverables including boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, right-of-way plans, topographic surveys, and construction staking calculations
Assist with boundary research and property line determinations that support both surveying and engineering projects
Collaborate and communicate professionally with clients and internal teams across the firm
Review work completed by fellow survey staff, gaining exposure to quality control and professional standards
Take on additional tasks as needed to gain hands-on experience in different aspects of land surveying
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Hold a Surveyor Intern (SI) certificate or Professional Surveyor (PS) license in Ohio - or have a clear plan to obtain the SI within 1 year or the PS within 4 years of employment
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer (ORD) - experience with both platforms is preferred
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for documentation and communication
Familiarity with construction staking and related calculations is a plus, especially if you’ve had field or academic experience in this area
