Requirements
Monday Friday {{7:30 am - 5:30 pm}} according to the physician's scheduleto work in a fast-paced environment
Certified Medical Assistant; preferred
EKG technician; Experienced preferred
Computer skills: EHR, Word, Excel, Outlook
Job Description for EKG Technician / Receptionist:
Places patients in the exam room according to protocol
Checks height, weight, vitals and performs EKG
Restocks exam rooms, sample closet and physician workstations
Review records for accuracy
Maintains appropriate chart documentation
Identifies operational delays and reports directly to the manager and/or supervisor
Reports equipment issues to the manager and/or supervisor
Reviews and stays up to date on position reference material which outlines all responsibilities
Performs opening and/or closing duties
Assist with other office support duties as directed by the manager and/or supervisor
Check in patients: (collect copays, referrals, scan insurance cards, DL, scripts, schedule, reschedule, phone calls, etc)
Check out patients: (schedule appointments, give patient instructions, medication printout instruction printout, scripts for outside testing, etc).
