Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Coordination
Manage and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
Work closely with transport providers, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
Ensure goods are delivered on time, safely, and within budget.
Optimize transportation routes and reduce logistics costs.2. Procurement and Sourcing
Support vendor selection and negotiation of terms.
Oversee purchase order creation, tracking, and fulfillment.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance with quality standards.3. Permits and Regulatory Compliance
Prepare and submit applications for necessary government permits (e.g., import/export licenses).
Ensure all logistics and purchasing activities comply with local and international laws (e.g., customs, BAI, BPI, FDA, DA, DENR, BOC, etc. depending on jurisdiction).
Maintain proper records of permits, licenses, and customs documentation.4. Inventory and Warehouse Coordination
Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking when necessary.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate receiving and dispatching.
Assist in physical inventory audits and inventory control.5. Process Improvement & Cost Efficiency
Identify areas for improvement in procurement and logistics processes.
Support implementation of cost-saving measures and process optimization strategies.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to track performance and suggest improvements.6. Team Support and Leadership
Assist the Contract Execution Head in leading a team of coordinators or staff.
Act as second-in-command and decision-maker when the manager is unavailable.
Your Profile:
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or procurement roles
Hands-on experience with import regulations, permits, customs clearance, and government regulatory bodies
Experience working with logistics service providers, shipping lines and customs brokers.Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of customs documentation, import licenses, incoterms, HS codes and trade compliance requirements
Familiarity with government portals for permits (e.g. BAI, BPI, BOC, Intercommerce, etc)Skills:
Proficient in MS Office application and reporting.
Above average negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to details and documentation handling.
Ability to handle multiple government permit applications.
Proficiency in English speaking and writing.
