Human Resources Administrative Assistant

At Ability Matters, we're looking for an organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team. If you have strong communication skills and are eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The HR Assistant will assist with day-to-day HR tasks, including employee compliance, recruiting, and onboarding new hires. They will also provide direct service to students in the education department 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and organizing employee compliance files to ensure alignment with State of Ohio, DODD, and company policies.

Assisting with recruitment efforts, providing support throughout the hiring process.

Managing new hire onboarding processes.

Leading new hire orientation to help integrate new team members smoothly.

Working directly with students 3 days per week. Qualifications:

Bachelor'sdegree, preferred.

Excellentoral and written communication skills.

Detail-orientedand strong organizational skills.

Abilityto take initiative and follow through on tasks.

Passa background check and drug test.
