This is a 4-6 month contract with the potential for hire upon completion, and you will work a hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple divisions. From sourcing and screening to hiring and onboarding, you'll work collaboratively with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to identify top talent and ensure BHN's workforce reflects the diversity and excellence of the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for full-time, part-time, temporary, contractual, and intern roles
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and proactive outreach
• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop customized recruitment strategies and build talent pipelines
• Utilize BHN's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidates, track progress, and maintain documentation
• Craft engaging job postings and provide input on job descriptions with hiring teams
• Represent BHN at job fairs, schools, and community events to promote employment opportunities
• Infuse diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every step of the recruitment process

Who You Are:
• Associate's degree in HR, Business, or related field (required); Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit setting
• Proficient with ATS platforms and modern recruitment tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with leadership and candidates
• Demonstrated understanding of cultural competency and social justice in recruitment practices
• Ability to travel locally for job fairs and community events (must have reliable transportation)
