Compensation: £39,237- 46,064 (Dependent on Experience) + Benefits

The role

As NDT Technician you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide support to the Successor Project by carrying out the following tasks;

Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in compliance with SNT-TC-1A standards.

Conduct Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Ultrasonic inspections on welds and machined components.

Follow approved procedures, techniques, and risk assessments to ensure safe and accurate work.

Maintain timely and precise reporting of all NDT activities.

Communicate and update inspection metrics regularly based on daily operations.

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with established safety protocols.

Please note that this position is based onsite in Rosyth, 36hrs/ week Monday- Friday dayshifts/ nightshifts on two weeks rotation.

Essential experience of NDT Technician

Strong technical expertise in NDT practices, standards, and interpreting technical drawings.

Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.

Highly organised, capable of managing tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.

Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office and IFS systems.

Analytical thinker, skilled in identifying problems and implementing practical solutions.

Qualifications for the NDT Technician

As a minimum hold PCN Level II in MT, PT, UT (3.1, 3.2, 3.8, 3.9)

Proven knowledge of the practices and standards associated with the NDT;

VT and RT Rad Interp PCN Level 2 - desirable

Experience of Advanced Ultrasonic Techniques - desirable

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
