We are looking for a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting simulations to understand and predict product behavior under different loading conditions and contributing to the design process of our products.

What You will Do:

Conduct FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems

Build, develop, validate, and implement simulation models and algorithms

Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions and identify areas for improvement

Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements

Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analysis of metallic and composite structures/components.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that simulations accurately reflect product behavior

Keep up-to-date with latest industry developments and emerging simulation technologies

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

1+ years of experience in conducting FEA simulations

Strong understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis

Proficiency in using simulation software, experience with ANSYS a must

Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Strong understanding of environmental control system conditions and constraints

Experience working with cabin air control systems, a plus but not required

Familiarity with fuel control components, specifically pumps and valves, a plus but not required

Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

Pay Range: $20/hour - $25/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site and 2 days remote.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, recurring travel is not required, but travel to the mainland US may be required for training purposes.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
