Job Description
We are looking for a trainable, detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our sensor manufacturing team. This position involves working under magnification to assemble high-precision load cells and force sensors.
The ideal candidate has fine motor skills, enjoys working with small components, and takes pride in producing work that meets tight tolerances and high standards.
Essential Job Duties:
Assemble load cells and sensor components using fine tools, adhesives, and soldering equipment
Solder small-gauge wires to terminals and circuits
Route and secure cables and leads to exacting specifications
Perform visual inspections under magnification to ensure quality and consistency
Apply adhesives and potting compounds for sealing strain gages and wiring
Perform basic testing with multimeters and signal checking equipment
Read and follow detailed work instructions and mechanical drawings
Collaborate with engineers and technicians during the assembly and inspection process
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow prescribed safety procedures
Qualifications and Requirements for this position:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to distinguish colors accurately to read resistor color codes and wiring labels.
We are willing to train for any of the qualifications or experience that's listed
Steady hands and good eyesight (magnified work required)
Prior experience with fine assembly, soldering, wiring, or electronics preferred
Ability to read small serial numbers and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Growth Opportunities:
An option for growth is learning how to perform calibrations, using the equipment we produce to conduct force calibration testing, and move into the role of a Calibration Technician.
Another growth option is learning about equipment repair and assisting with the repair of force calibration equipment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
The working environment is clean and, in a temperature-controlled facility
Requires extended periods of sitting and focused manual work
Occasional lifting, bending, and reaching
Must be able to work under magnification with small parts and components
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: $20.0 - $22.0 per hour, with additional profit share paid out twice a year with a catch-up payment.
