The Account Executive will sell directly to school districts, charter schools, and other educational facilities in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. The position will include prospecting, presenting to mid-level and C-level leadership, helping negotiate contracts, helping fulfill contracts, and other sales and marketing responsibilities. Pay is base plus commission with a flexible schedule and great potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with school admins in your territory

Prospect and nurture a pipeline of opportunities

Demo eLuma's proprietary software and solutions

Sign on new accounts

Help follow through on new contracts

Work with the implementation team to get new accounts up and running

Rapidly build territory through thoughtful, consultative sales that position our clients for success

Source, develop, and close leads through conferences, email, and marketing-generated leads

Partner with Marketing to drive marketing-qualified leads in your territory

Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with decision makers in your territory

Write, present, and execute a territory plan

Perform other duties as assigned.

About You:

Results-driven, professional, and motivated by helping a team achieve aggressive goals.

Demonstrated ability to inspire and build trust through influence and live the eLuma values (visionary, empathetic, dependable, solution-oriented, value-minded).

Financial acumen to maintain and grow revenue and renewals

Resourceful and willing to learn and grow with a company

Experience in strategic planning and execution, contracting, negotiating, and change management.

Requirements:

Experience in selling to K-12 school districts or other education entities

Experience with pipeline management

Understanding of SalesForce and Google Apps preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Ability to travel up to 35% for team meetings, conferences, events, etc.

At the time of hire, permanently reside in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, or Tennessee.
