training services for WASAC Development Ltd

WASAC Development Ltd has received funds from Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) to support the development of WASAC's capacity in Institutional operation and coordination for the delivery of sustainable water and sanitation services. This financing is intended to cover eligible payments for training services. In this context, WASAC Development Ltd seeks the services of qualified training firms from Arab, African or Arab African countries to provide technical training expertise to its staff.

WASAC DEVELOPMENT Ltd now invites eligible and experienced firms that are registered and based in Arab, African or Arab African country. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

The detailed scope of the services can be found in the Terms of Reference (ToR). Interested firms may request for ToR from WASAC DEVELOPMENT Ltd email .

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedures shall be in accordance with BADEA’s procurement guidelines and procedures.

Interested firms are requested to submit their Expression of Interest via WASAC Development Ltd email. WASAC DEVELOPMENT Ltd is under no obligation to shortlist any consultant who expresses interest.

The short-listing criteria will focus on:

Firms must submit documentation providing clear evidence and justification for meeting the requirements outlined. This includes, but is not limited to:

Certified copy of Trade Register or equivalent.

Based in Arab, African or Arab African countries (registration evidence).

Minimum of five (5) years of general experience in capacity building and training. Experience in similar projects, particularly in the water/sanitation and public utilities sectors;

Prior experience in Rwanda is an added advantage;

Demonstrated national and regional experience;

Proven track record in training large organizations. Providing minimum of two (2) references for capacity building in institutions of similar size and scope as WASAC Development Ltd is required.
