We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Audio Electronic Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge audio systems for our next-generation products. Responsibilities
What you'll do…
Design audio electronic circuits to meet section requirements
Work with acoustics engineer to design audio system meeting system requirements and industry standards
Design circuits using industry standard schematic capture tools
PCB layout implementation of responsible subsection
Perform worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility
Generate documentation that defines processor pin assignments
Develop detailed design documents
Perform failure mode analysis and generate process documentation
Define stress test routines required to validate functional sections
Formulate test plans to ensure component level performance
Validate testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes
Root cause and resolve issues in assigned sections
Participate in system design reviews
Interface closely with other teams such as Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing teams and with external component suppliers
Must be willing to travel occasional
Qualifications
You'll have…
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study
3+ years of of hands-on experience in the design and development of audio electronics, encompassing analog and digital circuits.
Demonstrated experience utilizing industry-standard audio test systems, including but not limited to Rohde & Schwarz UPV, SoundCheck, Audio Precision, and Head Acoustics ACQUA, for comprehensive performance validation and characterization.
Experience with audio test system such as Rohde Swartz UPV, SoundCheck and Audio Precision, and Head Acoustics ACQUA
Even better, you may have…
Familiar with CAD tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Cadence Design Systems, etc.)
Sound hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Experience in defining and designing audio systems including acoustics, transducers, audio signal interfaces, audio ICs such as CODEC, speaker amplifiers, and OP Amps
Familiar with acoustics and audio electrical simulations
Experience with audio test system such as Rohde Swartz UPV, SoundCheck and Audio Precision, and Head Acoustics ACQUA
Familiar with automotive and telecommunication standard such as ITU-T-REC-P.1140, T-REC-P.1110 and T-REC-P.1100
Working knowledge with a high-level programming language such as MATLAB, Python
Familiarity with typical DSP building blocks such as digital filters, AGC, echo cancellation, and noise suppression.
Familiar with Worst Case Circuit Analysis.
Familiar with Sones, Phons, RLR Receive Loudness ratings, SLR Send loudness ratings, Echo Loss TCL, CMRR Common Mode Reject ratio.

Ability to communicate effectively with business users and engineering professionals (e.g. globally distributed teams, ability to adjust communications appropriately for the audience, work with all levels of management and diverse work groups, etc.)
