Franklin University, a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio invites applicants for its Academic Operations & Support Services Systems Coordinator position. The Academic Operations and Support Services Systems Coordinator supports the operations and system-side functionality of critical academic platforms including Exxat, BI, and other internal data and reporting tools to support academic initiatives. This position ensures efficiency, standardization, data integrity, and workflows that enhance program readiness, institutional effectiveness, and staff productivity.
This is a non-student-facing role that collaborates closely with academic operations staff, IT, educational and clinical education teams. The coordinator also serves as a backup resource for Choose-Ohio-First, CCP, and clinical enrollment operations during peak periods or staff shortages. This will also serve as a point of contact for faculty involved in clinical coordination efforts implemented in their programs.
This role will work an onsite hybrid schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct data audits and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems.
Create user documentation, SOPs, and training resources.
Train and support staff users across all supported platforms.
Serve as backup support for clinical enrollment and CCP operations during high-demand periods.
Oversee Choose-Ohio-First Operations and reporting.
Maintain operational efficiencies by automating routine processes and integrating data across systems.
Build and maintain custom forms, programs, workflows, cohorts, reports, and evaluations in Exxat. Coordinate the API integration from Exxat to BI.
Coordinate the creation of new and management of existing BI dashboards and reports for institutional planning and academic operations.
Work with stakeholders in academic affairs and related committees to innovate and operationalize new systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, Education Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
Two or more years of experience with educational technology platforms and /or clinical tracking platforms; Exxat experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage data systems, build reports, and create workflow automations.
Demonstrates strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
Familiarity with healthcare or clinical education operations is a plus.
Previous experience using Visio or other flowchart programs
