Program Coordinator of Equity, Diversity and Belonging (EDB)
Full-Time Administrator (Level 14)
Salary Range: $52,000 to $59,000 (Annual salary is commensurate with experience.)
FLSA Status: Exempt

**This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations but will be based at the Blue Bell campus.
Basic Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Equity, Diversity, and Belonging (EDB) the Program Coordinator of EDB supports and runs all EDB programming initiatives, including but not limited to event management, training programs, and other special institutional and community-based projects as they relate to diversity, equity and inclusion. This is a college-wide position, working in close collaboration with faculty, staff, administrators, and the communities we serve, with some night and weekend hours required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop programming, marketing/communication plans/calendar, and evaluation of all events. This includes working collaboratively with the other college departments, including but not limited to the Office of the President’s staff to incorporate the annual EDB programming schedule into the master schedule, set-up of event logistics for events, submit requests for events, and track related expenses. Maintain communication with external vendors and service providers for the College’s EDB programming.
Maintain a detailed communications plan with all campus units internal and external partners as directed, to effectively collaborate, coordinate, support and promote EDB programming for students, employees and community partners.
Directly assist the Director of EDB in ensuring that all EDB programming serves to advance the College’s mission and strategic plan as well as complies with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements and relevant College policies.
Lead and oversee all logistical support and setup for major college wide EDB events (i.e. Presidential Symposium), special projects and meetings of the President’s Advisory Council for Equity and Social Justice, including items such as scheduling meetings and taking minutes.
Maintain an orderly, professional system for record keeping (both electronic and hard copy) for materials originating from the President’s Office related to EDB, as well as assist in providing data and needed information for grant submissions, press releases, annual reports, and other submissions/reporting supporting EDB initiatives for the College. Maintain confidential files and archived records in conjunction with the Office of the President staff for all EDB events, Title IX and other programs as needed.
Assist the advisor of the Alpha Alpha Alpha Honor Society in coordinating the annual induction programming and logistical support as needed.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Education/Training/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years directly related work experience in student life, cultural affairs or a related field.
Demonstrated experience developing effective programming, training/professional development opportunities for students and/or employees.
Experience working in higher education, community college experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Colleague, Salesforce, and social media platforms.
Excellent time management skills.
Effective communicator who is detail oriented and able to prioritize.
