Staff Nurse - Nursery

Duties & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs utilizing the nursing process

Actively participate in providing patient care as defined by a multidisciplinary plan of care

Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the pediatric population with diverse cultural backgrounds

Qualifications

SC RN license, BSN and Newborn Nursery experience preferred

Required to obtain BLS, PALS and NRP

ADN candidates must be enrolled in a BSN program within 18 months from date of hire and are required to obtain BSN within four (4) years of date of hire.

**AnMed associate degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and continue to work as an acute care Staff Nurse since that date, were “grandfathered” and the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years does not apply **

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years RN experience

BSN

Newborn Nursery experience
