STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant who is actively pursuing CPA certification. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and support during audits. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and assist in month-end and year-end closings

Analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance

Assist with internal and external audits

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed

Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Stay current on accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Actively pursuing CPA certification

1–3 years of accounting experience preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

Proficient in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
