The role of Lead Electronics Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities:

Preparing technical specifications and documentation, supporting continuous process improvement

Lead and coordinate the electronics development team from RFQ (Request for Quotation) to SOP (Start of Production)

Manage the design of electronic modules such as control units, power supplies, and LED drivers

Plan and monitor projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

Ensure development complies with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434)

Serve as the main technical contact for customers and suppliers

Coordinate collaboration between mechanical, optical, and electronics Teams

Participate in testing electronic components (EMC, thermal, lifetime, functional tests)

Requirements:

University degree in electronics or mechanical engineering

3 – 5 years of experience on similar position within international team

At least 1 year of experience with planning and managing projects

Experience in the automotive industry is a plus

Knowledge of electronics technologies

English on intermediate level (B2) - ability to communicate with customers and in an international team

Knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Project)

Presentation, negotiation, and communication skills

Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, and manage stress

Proactive, results-oriented approach, ability to lead and motivate a team
