Trueline's client, a design-forward architectural firm with a legacy of historic preservation excellence, is seeking a Senior Architect or Project Manager to join their Sheboygan, Wisconsin based team. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing complex projects from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on historic and adaptive reuse architecture.
What You'll Do as the Senior Architect or Project Manager:
Lead multiple architectural projects through all phases of design and construction
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors
Estimate scope, fees, and prepare proposals and contracts
Guide internal teams with task assignments, quality control, and design reviews
Ensure compliance with historic preservation standards, building codes, and other regulations
Communicate project progress and key updates to senior leadership
Must-Haves As The Senior Architect Or Project Manager
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
Licensed Architect with 8+ years of professional experience
Expertise managing all project aspects including design development, documentation, and construction administration
Deep knowledge of historic structures, materials, and preservation methodologies
Familiarity with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and COMcheck
Valid driver’s license
Nice-to-Haves As The Senior Architect Or Project Manager
Experience working with historic tax credits and adaptive reuse projects
Understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering systems
Previous mentorship or leadership experience in architecture teams
