SSRS / Power BI Consultant

Estrada Consulting, Inc is looking for:

SRS / Power BI consultant that lives in Southern California that is looking for part-time work. Hybrid model. They may want one day on site.

Probably 10-years in IT with a career focus in Microsoft Stack creating dashboards and reports.

The client will be going from SSRS to Power BI.

Certified preferred.

BA degree

Someone who is very polished, communicates well, and can provide references (3).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Write advanced SQL queries and stored procedures to support financial and billing-related reporting.

Develop and maintain SSRS reports.

Convert legacy reports into scalable and maintainable Power BI solutions.

Build and manage ETL processes using SSIS and Power BI Dataflows.

Perform data analysis and provide insights related to various data sources

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and reporting requirements to ensure report accuracy and usability.

Automate data refresh, notifications, and report delivery workflows using SQL Reporting Services and/or Power Automate to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.

Prepare and maintain financial reporting within the Open Gov online reporting platform, ensuring alignment with internal and external reporting requirements.

Tools and Technologies:

Databases & Querying: SQL Server, Lawson ERP, Infor

ETL & Data Integration: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Power BI Dataflows, Power Query, DAX, Python (for scripting and automation where applicable)

Reporting & Visualization: Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), OpenGov

Automation & Workflow: Power Automate

Version Control & Deployment: Azure DevOps,

Other: Excel (Power Pivot, Pivot Tables), OneDrive integration for report data inputs
