Job Description

Position: Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Correctional Facility in Wasco, California

Pay Rate: $69.25 to $71.25 per hour

Schedule: Part-time contract, 6 months (with potential for extension)

Wednesday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

At least 12 months of continuous direct patient care experience within the past 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting

Active and valid California Physical Therapy license (hard copy required)

Valid photo identification (Drivers License or Passport)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association

Demonstrated and current clinical competencies

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Physical Therapy services in compliance with CDCR facility policies and evidence-based clinical standards

Provide care upon physician referral and written order

Treat patients with an existing and documented diagnosis who seek Physical Therapy services directly

Maintain detailed records and adhere to documentation protocols

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and patient safety
