Are you a proactive and results-oriented Project Engineer who is ready to make a significant impact on a global organization?
In this key position you will take full responsibility for the execution and completion of assigned industrial projects. This role will primarily focus on leading a new process development project aimed at enhancing the value of our current feldspar production. The project engineer will be responsible not only for the technical & operational aspects of the project, but also for managing the necessary regulatory procedures, as well liaising with public authorities to ensure full compliance.
The ideal candidate will combine strong project management capabilities with a solid engineering background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
Project Management Activities
Managing & coordinating the design, planning, procurement, execution and closure/handover of CAPEX projects (ranging from EUR 10K to EUR 10M) including preparing, monitoring and updating cost and time estimation and coordinating all project activities
Be accountable for project risk management to ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, prioritized and mitigated
Provide monthly project status reports
Plan human resource needs as well as manage internal and external stakeholder relations & expectations
Quality & Control
Monitoring and supervising outsourced quality assurance and control activities, ensure compliance & assure the achievement of expected performances
Ensuring that the CoE Handbooks and tools are implemented effectively in CAPEX projects
Continuous improvement
Leading the lessons learned process from an engineering and technical project management perspective & sharing project management best practices
Providing input for Project Review Meetings · Implement performance management and Lean tool in project management/OPS
Act as Continuous improvement promoter in any activity in the cluster
Regulatory & Legal Compliance Coordination ·
Ensuring all legal, regulatory and administrative requirements of the project are properly managed & aligned with local, regional and national laws
Act as primary liaison with government agencies, municipalities, local authorities and and leading & coordinating official permitting processes (e.g., environmental permits, zoning, construction licenses)
Monitor changes in regulations and assess their potential impact on projects and support risk mitigation by identifying potential legal or bureaucratic barriers
Represent the project in official meetings, public hearings or consultations
Ensure timely submission of documentation and follow-up of administrative procedures with relevant stakeholders
Follow up government investment incentives, apply, revise and make sure to get the max. of incentives
Additional Project Ownership
Initiating and leading maintenance, repair, process optimization or production-related improvement projects & taking full responsibility for the execution of such projects, including planning, coordination, and follow-up
Driving continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or technical limitations in current operations and implementing sustainable solutions
Collaborating with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with operational priorities
Providing technical and executional support to projects in other countries where the company operates, depending on business needs
About you:
Bachelor level degree (Mining, Geoscience, Geology, Mine Engineering, Engineering or other relevant field)
Knowledge of mining engineering and operation principles with proven years working in project management
Practical understanding of industrial mineral industry is an advantage
Strong continuous improvement mindset
Be pragmatic, self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable with the ability to work to numerous pressurized deadlines
Good interpersonal skills with willingness to help others across the organization
Be a quick adaptor to new technology tools and processes
Excellent organizational & time management skills with critical thinking skills, attention to detail as well as problem resolution skills
Ability to respond quickly, multi-task and work in fast paced environment
Proficient computer skills, including experience with Office365, MS Teams, Skype, MS Project, Visio, drawings and 3D model drawings and viewers
English and Turkish languages- strong professional proficiency in both verbal & writing
