Manufacturing Project Manager

Our client, a power distribution systems manufacturer, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire role and fully onsite in Griffin, GA.

The Project Manager will work closely with and support sales and be responsible for providing management of Power Generation projects from receipt of purchase through final customer acceptance. This person will be heavily customer facing, confirm accuracy of bill of materials and cost estimates, Perform invoicing on all delivered goods and services, etc.

Responsibilities:

Review project documentation for accuracy of bill of materials, cost estimates, and terms & conditions.

Collaborate with Sales and Management to resolve scope or specification discrepancies.

Manage multiple power generation projects (Generators, ATS, Paralleling Switchgear, Accessories).

Oversee submittal approvals, procurement, manufacturing releases, shipping, and final delivery.

Issue and track purchase orders, coordinate with vendors and internal departments.

Ensure product compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Invoice all delivered goods and services accurately and promptly.

Participate in safety programs and uphold safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or engineering in the electric power industry or similar technical field.

Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working with customers and managing technical projects end-to-end.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

In-depth knowledge of diesel/gaseous engines, generator sets, paralleling switchgear, and ATS.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.

5+ years of customer-facing experience in a technical environment.
