CLASSIFICATION TITLE:** UNIT SUPPORT WORKER 1

**

PAY RANGE:** $18.96/hour

**MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**

- Twelve months experience as a Unit Support Worker 1, 30111 and a valid driver's license.

- **[Or]{.underline}** formal education in arithmetic that includes addition and subtraction, and reading and speaking common English vocabulary, one course or six months experience in typing, keyboarding or word processing, and a valid driver's license. Also requires an additional twelve-month experience in typing, keyboarding or word processing and working in an office environment handling in-person and/or telephone contacts with clients, customers and/or general public.

**Or education, training and/or experience in an amount equal to the Minimum Qualifications stated above.**

** ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

**

- Clerical skills: knowledge and skill to operate copy machine, typewriter, calculator, PC computer; multi-line telephone system.

- Ability to calculate fractions, decimals & percentages; complete forms and write routine correspondence.

- Ability to conduct an interview to determine client need, including but not limited to PRC and expedited services. -- Ability to compile and track information when needed.

- Interact with the public and schedule appointments.

**JOB DUTIES:

**

- Prepares and process bills; compiles and submits vouchers to County Auditor for payment; enters vouchers and receipts into CFIS; scan vouchers and supporting documentation; opens, maintains, and closes purchase orders; prepares daily pay-in; posts overpayment receipts to accounts; completes physical inventory of office equipment and supplies and maintains inventory list; procurement; responds to purchasing requests; makes all purchases for agency; provides office supplies to other units; shuffles correspondences between agency and other county agencies.

- Determine gasoline amount for authorized Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) trips and sends voucher to appropriate gas station; update NET database when gas receipts are returned to verify amount; reconcile monthly invoices from service providers.
