The Associate Network Engineer supports enterprise and store network technologies and systems across Bath & Body Works’ retail environment. This role focuses on incident and request management, network implementation support, and vendor coordination. It is ideal for candidates early in their networking career who are eager to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced retail technology environment.
Responsibilities
Operational Support & Incident Management
Provide 1st-level support for store network and wireless issues.
Monitor Network devices and respond to alerts.
Complete service tickets and requests in the team queue.
Participate in on-call rotation (weekly, 24x7 coverage).
Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers as needed.
Project & Implementation Support
Assist with the implementation of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks for new store openings and remodels.
Support broadband provisioning, IP address assignments, and SIM card activations.
Coordinate with vendors and general contractors to ensure site readiness.
Create and maintain documentation for store network installations.
Add/remove store network devices in monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cherwell).
Request Management
Fulfill store network-related requests, including monitoring setup and configuration changes.
Ensure timely resolution of requests to meet SLA targets (90%+ resolution rate).
Vendor Coordination
Open and manage tickets with vendors; escalate service issues as needed.
Track vendor performance and support store circuit installations.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
Participate in weekly team and vendor meetings.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Engage in training and development activities to build technical and soft skills.
1–3 years of related experience in networking or IT support
Cisco CCNA certification is a plus.
Basic understanding of WAN/LAN technologies and wireless networking.
Familiarity with tools like Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work within a team and independently with direction and manage multiple tasks.
Education
Associate degree or coursework in Computer Science, Networking, or related field
