The Head of Agency Onboarding is a critical leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing the onboarding strategy and process for new agencies joining Sun Life. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition for new agencies, setting them up for success, and ultimately contributing to the growth and performance of our agency channel.

Strong understanding of insurance agency operations, regulatory environment, Agency financing, Life Insurance product knowledge and end-to-end insurance business process

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex onboarding projects simultaneously

Outstanding leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams

Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities and digital savvy

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels

Proficiency in relevant software/digital application and technologies used in onboarding processes

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field;

10+ years of experience in agency management, operations, or related roles within the insurance or financial services industry

Proven track record in developing and implementing successful onboarding programs

Develop and execute a comprehensive onboarding strategy for new agencies, aligning with Sun Life's overall business objectives and agency growth plans

Design, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end onboarding process for new agencies, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a positive experience

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Compliance, IT) to create a seamless integration process for new agencies

Oversee the creation and maintenance of onboarding materials, including training programs, documentation, and resources, including delivery of the onboarding training

Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success of the onboarding process and identify areas for improvement

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sun Life policies throughout the onboarding process
