This position is located in Columbus, OH, Ag Admin Building.

Provides comprehensive, high level administrative support for the Assistant Dean and Associate Department Chair and faculty supervisors to manage processes and policies for the largest TIU in the College; assists the Assistant Dean and Associate Department Chair on a range of issues, special projects, and daily activities; coordinates staff promotion and faculty promotion and tenure processes including managing the development of yearly timelines, managing faculty teaching review processes, as well as providing guidance and application of policies and procedures. Independently performs administrative work of a complex nature and handles confidential information; reviews, coordinates, and maintains complex schedule and calendar of activities; researches information and provides guidance to the Assistant Dean and Associate Department Chair on pertinent issues; assesses inquiries and concerns directed to the office, determining course of action and delegating to the appropriate person to manage; organizes and prepares agendas and itineraries; develops, creates, and reviews documents and reports for promotion and tenure (P&T) and staff promotion processes; coordinates electronic membership lists, presentations, correspondence, letters, and forms; creates and manages web-based surveys; arranges and coordinates travel; leads efforts for faculty and staff to obtain Principal Investigator (PI) status; assists in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures; provides administrative support for faculty search committees, onboarding and mentoring of new faculty; serves as Assistant Dean and Associate Department Chair’s liaison to college and university officials; works on special projects as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this profile is $70,100-$91,600/annually. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit’s available budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
