Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; local candidates only)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Visa: U.S. Citizen / Green Card Holders Only

Must-Have Skills:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL development, including SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, and CUBE (Star Schema)

• Strong background in migrating legacy databases to scalable, high-performance platforms (Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, Snowflake)

• Programming skills in Scala, PySpark, and SparkSQL

• Proven experience handling large datasets (~100M records) with performance optimization for scalability

• Expertise in building and managing data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and analytics

• Deep understanding of data integrity, security, and performance in modernized database environments

• Prior banking/financial services domain experience is a must

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in data architecture, database design, or data engineering for large-scale data projects

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex data concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
