Cost Engineer – Architectural Scope (CSA) Location: Austin, TX area preferred Play a critical role in the financial success of large-scale, high-tech construction projects by managing architectural costs with precision and insight.

As a Cost Engineer, you’ll take the lead on estimating, tracking, and analyzing costs related to finishes, partitions, doors, ceilings, and more.

You’ll work closely with project managers, procurement, and design teams to ensure budget alignment, accurate forecasting, and contract compliance—all while helping deliver cutting-edge facilities.

What You’ll Do:Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for architectural scope (finishes, ceilings, doors, etc.)Analyze drawings and specs to update estimates and budgetsEvaluate and track change orders, including cost impact assessmentsMonitor actual costs vs.

budget and report variances and forecastsSupport contract negotiations with detailed architectural cost breakdownsReview subcontractor pay apps and assist in cost reconciliationMaintain detailed records and generate regular cost reportsEnsure adherence to client requirements, policies, and standards What You Bring:Bachelor’s in architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar5+ years of experience in cost engineering or estimating in constructionStrong understanding of architectural materials and installation methodsProficient in tools like Excel, Bluebeam, Sage, CostX, or equivalentSkilled in change management, takeoff software, and cost tracking systemsFamiliar with contract types like AIA, FIDIC, GMP, and Cost-plus Bonus Points For:Experience on semiconductor fabs, data centers, or other high-tech buildsBilingual (English/Korean)
