Electrical/Industrial PLC/Controls Technician Our client is seeking experienced candidates for their Electrical/Industrial PLC/Controls Technician position.

You’ll join the team at a fast-paced manufacturer that truly appreciates its employees.

Responsibilities of the Electrical/Industrial PLC/Controls Technician Independently troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild all types of complex electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled production equipment, with proficiency and versatilityInstall and troubleshoot AC and DC circuits and equipment (24vdc, 120/208/480vac)Program, troubleshoot, and network PLCsInstall, program, and troubleshoot AC drives and HMI panelsPerform preventive maintenance per equipment scheduleRebuild electrical mechanical devicesWork with Engineering to design, select, modify, and/or adapt equipment or procedures to specific project requirementsTest, calibrate, and repair electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to establish standards, and assist in formulating calibrating standardsMaintain work recordsContribute to continuous improvement activities Qualifications of the Electrical/Industrial PLC/Controls Technician Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding electrical, PLC, and hydraulic machinery; or a minimum of 7 years of industrial experience in a skilled trade with an electrical discipline and PLC experience, with no formal post-secondary educationProficient in the following PLC programs: Rockwell Studio 5000, Factorytalk, RSWho/RSLinx, RSLogixAdvanced PLC degree or certifications a plusFormal training on AC/DC circuits and PLCs, working knowledge of mechanical systems, and instrumentation and controls experienceDemonstrated ability to install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain machinery and equipment, and read/interpret blueprints and schematicsStrong communication skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a teamMust have own trade tools Please share your resume in confidence for this Electrical/Industrial PLC/Controls Technician opportunity.
