Controls Engineer Program PLCs

Seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Controls Engineer to lead and execute automation and controls projects from concept through completion.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, with a proven ability to program PLCs from scratch, develop and integrate HMI systems, and successfully manage the execution of automation projects in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

This role requires both technical expertise and project management skills to design, implement, and optimize control systems that support production, safety, and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation, or related field5+ years of experience in controls or automation engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong experience with PLC programming from scratch (e.g., Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, etc.)Proficient in HMI and SCADA systems design and configurationSolid project management skills with experience leading automation projects independentlyFamiliarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment This role will sit ONSITE out of Lock Haven, PA
