Senior Accountant

Title: Senior Accountant

Compensation: 100K – 120K

Environment: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Company Overview:

A production and manufacturing company specializing in government contracting.

Job Duties:

Process monthly financial close transactions and balance sheet reconciliations

Support Accounts Payable and full cycle payroll processing

Prepare financial reports, budget variances, and tax filings

Assist with audit documentation and ongoing projects

Perform other accounting duties as required

Requirements:

5+ years of accounting experience with federal contractors, production, or manufacturing background

Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with Unanet or Deltek-Costpoint preferred

Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and databases

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive business process improvements
