Franklin University seeks energetic, dependable, flexible, self-motivated candidates for the position of Math Tutor. The Learning Commons is looking to add qualified tutors to the tutoring staff. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrated proficiency in the intended subject area.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a BS or higher in Mathematics or a related field. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate proficiency in the intended subject area, including pre-algebra, fundamental algebra, college algebra, applied calculus, and statistics. Teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.

Flexibility to tutor online in both synchronous and asynchronous environments is desired. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrated proficiency in the intended subject area.

Hours: Hours will vary depending on tutoring volume—evening and weekend availability required.
