We are looking for a meticulous and organized Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will oversee payroll operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for all employees. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in payroll systems and tools.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry, calculations, and final approvals.
• Verify the accuracy of payroll data and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Utilize advanced Excel formulas for payroll reporting and analytical tasks.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with other departments to address payroll-related inquiries and provide support on compensation matters.
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax requirements.
• Generate and review payroll reports to assist in audits and financial analysis.
• Respond promptly to employee concerns regarding payroll and benefits.
• Use Microsoft Outlook to coordinate communications and manage payroll-related documentation.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and tools.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for communication and record-keeping.
