We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Woodbridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IT general controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, while maintaining operational efficiency and security. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough audits of IT systems and processes to ensure compliance with IT general controls and SOX requirements.

• Develop and implement audit programs tailored to the organization's specific needs and industry standards.

• Evaluate IT systems, applications, and infrastructure for potential risks and vulnerabilities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and recommend actionable solutions.

• Review documentation and evidence to validate adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor ongoing compliance with established IT governance frameworks and policies.

• Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for management, highlighting findings and recommendations.

• Assist in the design and enhancement of IT control frameworks to improve overall system reliability.

• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on IT compliance and audit best practices.• Proven experience in IT auditing, with a strong focus on IT general controls and SOX compliance.

• In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and regulatory standards.

• Proficiency in developing and executing audit programs effectively.

• Ability to assess risks and recommend practical solutions for mitigation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex IT systems.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting findings.

• Familiarity with tools and techniques used in IT auditing.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
