1. Define technology requirements by auditing client financials, transactions and internal control processes to support Connor Group (“CG”) and our clients accounting and business needs, utilizing a deep understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills.
2. Identify uses and methods where CG (or external partner built) technology can be leveraged to guide companies through their complex accounting and finance challenges by performing information scraping, data ETL, advanced analytics, data visualizations and process flow automation to perform analysis of client data, enhancing both internal processes and client experiences.
3. Engage directly with internal teams to organize testing and gather input on accounting technology CG (or external partners) are building; this includes developing accounting scenarios to test, managing the testing process, gathering input and making recommendations for system changes.
4. Coordinate with external customers to train them in CG’s accounting software product, gather their feedback and provide user assistance.
5. Collaborate with external development partners to ensure accounting product changes and designs align with CG and CG client needs.
6. Become an expert in the accounting product (Numero) that CG is developing in collaboration with a 3rd party software company.
7. Monitor and coordinate product enhancements, by collaborating closely with the Numero development team to apply concepts of risk assessment and integrate insights from user research to refine the Numero accounting product.
8. Drive customer use and adoption of Numero, by monitoring usage, customer feedback, making proactive recommendations, performing software installation and troubleshooting, and providing live support to customers looking to address accounting and operational needs.
9. Perform necessary research on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SEC, or specific client situations in support of CG professionals and clients and to provide recommendations on Numero product enhancements.
10. Using Excel, PowerPoint, Numero, NetSuite, and SQL to successfully perform accounting R&D management duties.

The experience and education requirements are:
Six (6) months’ experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include:
a. Performing software installations and troubleshooting.
b. Performing information scraping, data ETL (extract, transform, and load), and data analysis.
c. Auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
d. Applying concepts of risk assessment.
e. Experience with advanced analytics, data visualizations and process flow automation to perform analysis of client data.
f. Executing audit procedures using audit tools and technologies.
Bachelor’s (or foreign educ. equiv.) Degree in Accounting, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
$47,000 - $94,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F
