Electronics Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in electronic assembly and a passion for leading and mentoring others. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling complex electronic components, troubleshooting low-voltage systems, and guiding a team of assemblers to ensure quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of electronic assemblers in daily operations.
Assemble and wire electronic components, including relays, contact panels, and circuit boards.
Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to test and troubleshoot low-voltage systems.
Ensure all assemblies meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of assembly procedures and test results.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.
Train new team members and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in electronic assembly or a related field.
Proven experience with relays, multimeters, contact panels, and low-voltage troubleshooting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
