Job Overview:
In addition to performing routine Front Desk tasks (check-in & checkout), hotel Night Auditors perform a vital role on 3rd shift in closing the business day in the property management system and rolling the date to keep the system current.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Projects a positive image
Greets all guests
Initiates the Night Audit process of closing the financial day and rolling the date in the PMS
Generates reports for various team members as directed
Processes no-show reservations
Performs hotel check-in and checkout transactions
Enrolls guests in player’s club, generate cards upon demand
Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
Performs miscellaneous tasks – cash handling, check authorizations, faxing, copying
Maintains cash drawer, drops cash as required, submits supporting documentation
Answers telephones, routing calls as necessary
Actively resolves guest issues and disputes
Reports guestroom issues to Maintenance
Re-stocks Front Desk supplies
Keeps work area clean and orderly
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
Must be able to type 20 words per minute (typing test will be administered) - required
Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- required
Experience in customer service- required
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift
Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position Base Pay:
Pay range - $15.00 - $20.63 (The base pay will depend factors such as experience level and skillset.)
