Composite Truck camper Technician/Fabricator

Job Description

We’re hiring a skilled fabricator/technician to join our team building custom composite truck campers in Delta, Colorado. This isn’t a production-line role—we’re a small, focused shop building high-end expedition campers from the ground up. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and wants to be part of a growing team doing things right.

We build every camper by hand using Cascadia Composites panel systems, aluminum framing, bamboo cabinetry, and premium off-grid electrical and plumbing systems. You'll be involved in every part of the build process—fabrication, cabinetry, mechanical systems, layout, and final fit/finish.

The ideal candidate:

Has fabrication experience with aluminum and/or composite materials

Can work confidently from drawings and shop plans

Is comfortable working across multiple trades: framing, cabinetry, mechanical/electrical install

Takes ownership, pays attention to detail, and works clean

Doesn’t need to be micromanaged and is good at figuring things out when plans change

Preferred skills (not all required):

Cabinet building or finish carpentry (we use bamboo plywood throughout)

Electrical system installation (12V/24V DC and basic AC)

Plumbing installs, diesel appliances, and climate control components

Composite panel handling, bonding, and sealing techniques

Use of CNC tools, routers, jigs, and layout tools

We understand that no one is perfect at everything—we’re looking for the right attitude, strong base skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt. This role may involve a mix of fabrication and cabinetry depending on workload. You won’t be stuck doing just one thing unless you want to specialize.
