The Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester is located alongside the Erie Canal in Brighton and is a 200,000 square foot facility that houses our state-of-the-art fitness, Wellness and recreation programming, an Aquatics Center, a professional Theatre, Children’s Center and our Summer Camp Programs

We are looking for part time Locker Room Attendants to support the day-to-day operations of the Men's Spa Locker Room by maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service expectations for staff, members and guests. Must be able to respond to emergencies and maintain CPR / AED certification.

Schedule:

Weekday - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Morning shifts start at 7:00 AM

Evening shifts end at 8:30 PM

Saturday and Sunday - mornings and afternoons

Must work at least one weekend shift

Responsibilities

Greet every member and guest by name in a friendly and courteous manner

Assist members in the Spa Locker Room with any needs

Assign lockers to new members

Give tours of the Spa Locker Room to new or prospective members

Test the whirlpool chemical levels at designated times, record on daily sheet and call maintenance if chemical levels are outside normal range

Maintain both the coffee bar and vanity area

Maintain cleanliness throughout, including but not limited to: vanity area, bathrooms, coffee bar, towel areas, lounge, locker room, fitness room and fitness equipment

Maintain and provide towels: washing, drying, folding and transporting to and from laundry department

Maintain and return member’s laundry bags after washing by returning to respective member’s lockers

Respond to emergencies safety codes and, if needed, administer CPR/AED services to a member

Education and Certifications

High School diploma

Current CPR/AED and First Aid required
