We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's computer systems and networks, ensuring operational efficiency and data security. Your primary focus will be on network administration, server management, and software maintenance. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our systems are secure, reliable and accessible to our users.

What You will Do:

Manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices

Install, configure, and update hardware, operating systems, and software

Provide helpdesk support and troubleshoot issues for users in a production setting

Oversee virtualization platforms (ESXi, Hyper-V, VirtualBox)

Set up and support network devices (e.g., access points, IoT devices)

Administer Windows systems and basic Linux tasks (command line, Samba shares)

Implement data backups, recovery plans, and system security measures

Monitor performance, troubleshoot proactively, and document IT processes

Recommend improvements and stay current with tech trends

Preferred Background:

Experience in IT support or system administration, ideally in a production or warehouse setting

Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies

Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems

Comfortable setting up access points and IoT devices

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Good communication and teamwork skills
