The issue

Undergrounding power lines enhances safety, improves network reliability, and preserves the landscape.

The project

As part of power lines undergrounding projects, we are looking for a Safety Officer.

Key responsibilities

-Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

-Monitor site activities, enforce use of PPE, and perform safety inspections.

-Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.

-Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

-Coordinate safety measures with contractors and utility providers.

-Oversee emergency preparedness and public safety during works.

Required skills

-Knowledge of HSE German regulations, standards, and best practices.

-Familiarity with HSE documentation, audits, inspections, and reporting procedures.

-Fluency in German (spoken and written).
