We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Engineer II to support the Regional Manager in overseeing operations across a portfolio of industrial buildings specializing in conveyor system maintenance.
This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on understanding of maintenance processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong interest in stepping into a leadership role within the industrial services sector.
* Assist the Regional Manager in daily oversight of multiple facilities within the region.
* Help coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure timely service and repairs for conveyor systems.
* Track performance metrics and provide weekly reports on equipment downtime, labor utilization, and project completion.
* Support the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
* Conduct periodic site visits to assess compliance with safety standards and maintenance quality.
* Communicate with facility managers, technicians, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on priorities.
* Assist with labor scheduling, work order management, and parts/equipment procurement.
* Help onboard new maintenance staff and ensure adherence to company protocols.
* Identify and escalate potential risks or operational inefficiencies to the Regional Manager.
* Maintain accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). YOU MUST HAVE * 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or facility operations, preferably involving conveyor systems.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, maintenance workflows, and safety procedures.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS software.
* Willingness to travel regularly within the region (up to 50%). WE VALUE * Prior supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial or maintenance setting.
