Quality Assurance Technician
Whitehall, Ohio
Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm
$21 per hour

What you’ll be doing:
Perform inspections and verification checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and established procedures. Reporting any deviations or non-conformances
Review production documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with protocols, specifications, and regulations
Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet SQF, regulatory, company, and customer requirements
Work with other departments to implement procedure changes due to corrective or preventive actions issued to resolve deviations due to equipment breakdown, processing deviations, material specifications and consumer complaints
Perform bake-off and analytical tests on finished products. Ensure products meet all quality specifications before release. Document visual inspection and test results
Identify and document non-conformances during production and sanitation processes and report findings to area supervisor. Initiate corrective actions or preventative measures as needed.
Calibrate inspection, measuring and testing equipment on a routine basis. Maintain calibration records
Assist with internal audits and external inspections as needed. Provide documentation and address any findings
Maintain organized files and records for quality system documentation, SOPs, test methods, validations, etc
Maintain clean and orderly workspaces
What we are looking for:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous Quality Assurance experience
Good attention to detail
High sense of urgency at all times
Adhere to daily goals
Must be a team player and able to work well with others
Ability to lift 20-75 lbs and withstand variation in temperatures
