8am - 8pm\n \n\n \n Location: 1395 S Pinellas Avenue, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689\n \n\n \n The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas\n \n\n \n The role you'll contribute:\n \n\n \n Performs CT and MRI imaging procedures.

Assist Radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies.

Maintains records of examinations performed.

Obtains and documents patient clinical history.

Performs darkroom, clerical and transport functions.

Participates in standby call.

Performs basic patient care with scope of practice and to departmental standards.

Assists in Radiology Department as needed.

Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital-East Region Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.\n \n\n \n The value you'll bring to the team:\n \n\n \n\n\nPerforms CT and MRI imaging procedures.\n \nPositions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce procedure images and data as needed to meet radiologist standards.\n \nSend images to QC station and then to PACS and archives images\n \nEnters patient demographic information into logs and system.\n \nTransports, lifts, moves and positions patients as needed to obtain images, transport patients to/from department, table or as otherwise needed for patient care.\n \nMoves and adjusts imaging equipment, including CT gantry, injector and MR coils.\n \nPrepares and administers contrast material for CT and MRI, including administration of oral and IV contrasts per radiologist instructions and exam protocols.\n \nPerforms direct patient care duties, within scope of practice, including assisting radiologists with interventional procedures such as biopsies or drainage procedures.\n \nPerforms basic patient care including monitoring of patient condition and caring for patient safety and privacy.

Obtains and documents patient history and explains procedure.\n \nPerforms clerical duties, including documentation of care received as well as assisting in routine department clerical needs.\n \nScreens for magnet safety all patients, families or others entering magnetic areas.\n \nPerforms equipment QC and calibrations.\n \nRotates through standby call and is available on premises within 30 minutes of notification.\n \nCompetent with PACS and fixing images as needed for Radiologist reading and archiving.\n \nInventories, cleans and stocks work area.\n \nCoordinates equipment service and preventative maintenance.\n \n\n \n\n\n Qualifications\n \n\n \n The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :\n \n\n \n\n\nHigh School Grad or Equivalent\n \n2 years of experience\n \nBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)\n \nAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)\n \n\n \n\n\n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.

Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range.
