CAD DESIGNER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Harmonization of design and product data (product data management)

Maintenance of the super product (in collaboration with the design engineer, or independently for simple projects)

Component integration and design space analysis (DMU)

Management of CAD data

Detailed design of 3D models and subassemblies

2D drawing derivation of components and subassemblies

Creation of customer drawings according to requirements

Creation of internal manufacturing drawings according to Gentherm guidelines

Ensuring data quality according to customer requirements

Data conversion and transfer between internal and external CAx systems

Support in the design and provision of test and sample parts

Support in design review with System & Project Engineering

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role with automotive background

You have experience in 3D design, as well as 2D

You are very familiar with CATIA V5 (3D/2D)

You must speak English, German is beneficial

You are a solution-oriented person with systematic mindset

You are precise, able to make decisions on your own
