Software Engineering Advisor (0251426)

Implement Java products, REST-based microservices and test-driven automation; Work with team leads to help drive overall vision in design and build of automated regression testing scripts; Design, develop, test, debug, and document software that meets functional and non-functional requirements; Collaborate with other developers to drive and implement solutions; Review Release Readiness and execution, as well as review and address business requests/production issues; Review User Access and Onboarding to OnePA, Pserver; Release Readiness for DB Changes/Services/Infrastructure/Performance Review; Support company initiatives (Oracle Patch, MFS updates) and ad hoc requests from PSO/ leadership; Track story progress and QA deployment; Conduct sprint demo and process improvement plans to minimize the prod issues; Provide and coordinate support for deployed products when issues arise; Promote agile practices that are aligned with company practices; Share knowledge, coach, mentor, and review code of team members; and Recommend changes and enhancements to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Hybrid Work Schedule.

Requires experience with: Developing applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate; Implementing DAO pattern to work with database; Implementing unit testing using Junit; Implementing Ant and Maven build tools to build and deploy jar and war files; Working on AWS components to deploy and store data in s3 buckets; and Using: Java, Python, Git, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Spring MVC, Web Flow, RESTful, and Jenkins.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computers, or Engineering and 5 years of experience in a related occupation.
