Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.
Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
Support Build at different phase of programme
Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.
Manage homologation documentation, testing, etc.
Expreienced in GNOVAC/ Vehicle quality audits

General Requirements
Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
Knowledge of Frame design and Key design principles of other aggregates
Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
Knowledge of SAM process
DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)
Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM
Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation
Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
Knowledge of 8D
